Three men accused of posing as police officers and holding residence of the Beech Grove area at gunpoint had their cases bound to the October term of the Coffee County Grand Jury. 50-Year old Robert Kerry Pickle of Nashville, Steven Wayne McRaven, age 52, of Nashville and Manchester resident 56-year old Daniel Leon Hudgins are charged with especially aggravated kidnapping, especially aggravated robbery, criminal impersonation and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Aug. 18th the three men drove up to a residence on Old Hickory Drive and stated they were police officers. The resident told deputies that the men showed what appeared to be a badge and one of the three men was seen wearing a ball cap that had the words police on it. The men allegedly forced one of the victims to the ground and ransacked the home, tying up two persons inside. During the incident the men kept demanding drugs, but no illegal drugs were in the house.
The fake cops allegedly left the scene in Beech Grove with several prescription pill bottles, a gun, Fender guitar and a gold watch. The victims called 911. The three culprits were later caught.
Again, all three suspects will head to the Coffee County grand jury in October.
