Middle Tennessee State University Student Files False Kidnapping

A students story on the MTSU campus about an alleged kidnapping is apparently false. The female claims that when she got into her car, a man was crouched down in the passenger floorboard and demanded she drive him to a home in the country. The student in question filed the report on February 17th. She claimed the incident happened outside her dorm building.




It was later determined that the student had made up the story because she claimed to have emotional problems. No charges have been filed as of February 21st.
