Nashville, TN - An 18-year-old Nashville man traveling the wrong way on I-65 died at the scene of a head-on collision between his 1994 Honda Civic and a Chevrolet Tahoe on Saturday, July 3rd.

Nashville Metro Police reported that Andrew M. Daquila of Maymanor Circle was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of I-65 near Armory Drive at 1:40 a.m. when he collided with the SUV driven by William Calhoun, 20, of Louisville, Kentucky. Calhoun told investigators that he suddenly saw headlights coming toward him and tried to swerve to avoid the Honda, but was unsuccessful. Neither Calhoun nor his five passengers were seriously hurt.
