The fire began at 2112 24th Avenue North at an abandoned building and spread to two other buildings. Police said the building was once a publishing house for Seventh Day Adventists.Fire officials said no one was hurt in the fire and that they don't yet know what sparked the flames. The smoke was so extensive that Channel 4 News received calls from Hendersonville reporting smoke."It's just strange for it to happen all of the sudden," said neighbor Hollis Britton. I've seen people come and go … snatching security windows off, so I think somebody set it on fire."Police said they're looking for a white pickup truck that was seen at the building for the last several days to talk with its occupants. They said the truck was last seen Tuesday before the fire was reported.More than 120 fire emergency personnel fought the flames.Anyone with information is asked to call the Fire Marshal’s Office at 615-862-5230 or the Arson Hot Line at 1-800-762-3017.
