Kentucky State Police have arrested a man wanted in a chain saw attack on an East Tennessee man.
A news release from the agency said troopers arrested 27-year-old Brandon Petrey of Whitley County, Ky., shortly after 10 p.m. EDT Sunday.
Petrey is held on a charge of attempted second-degree murder and two local bench warrants from eastern Kentucky.
The Knoxville News Sentinel reported Petrey and another person were cutting tree branches and shrubs in a subdivision in Knox County, Tenn., and the victim went to stop them from cutting along his parents' property.
They got into an argument, and police said the victim was cut on a thumb.
It wasn't clear how serious the injury was, but Knox County Sheriff's spokeswoman Ashley Haynes said the man was taken to a hospital. His name wasn't released
