Chicago Style Ribs Cause Bomb Scare

A messy box of ribs caused a ruckus in Clarksville on Thursday morning.According to Channel 4's news partners at the Leaf-Chronicle, someone saw the box at about 8 a.m. and told police it had a warning written on it, saying anyone who touched it would lose their hands.Public Square was blocked off while the bomb squad checked out the package with robotic equipment.It turned out to be a box of ribs. The owner said she had brought the ribs down from Chicago for a family reunion but that the box was too messy to take inside her hotel room, so she left it outside.No charges are being filed.
